Nestled in the lush mountains of WNC in Bryson City, Hellbender Outdoors has found its home. Bryson City is the epicenter of some of the most prolific canoeing and kayaking in the country and is a premier training site for elite paddlers from around the world; producing 24 Olympic athletes, and hosting virtually every Olympic whitewater athlete since 1972 at some point in their training. It was also the site of the 2013 ICF Freestyle World Championships and is one of the most popular whitewater (and outdoor) destinations in the country, being a popular gateway to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Against this backdrop, Hellbender Outdoors specializes in the production and import of high-quality canoes, kayaks, SUPs, and paddles for the competition, custom, and performance markets. Hellbender Outdoors is very proud to partner with One Ocean Sports and Blackfish Paddles, and is the first US distributor for Wave Sport Kayak’s long-awaited return to the US!!! At Hellbender Outdoors, we strive to promote paddle sports in all forms by providing the highest-quality boats, boards, and paddles available in the world. We are passionate about all aspects of the sport and want to share that passion by providing the best paddling experience to anyone wanting to enjoy paddle sports, regardless of age, ability or experience level.
